Good luck with the pump therapy John H😀. It was a game changer twice for me ! First getting a pump which helped with my overnight control. Second time was getting a Tandem Tslim2, which is closed loop i.e it links to my dexcom. It’s sleep mode means EVERY morning my BG’s are well in range without me doing anything. It’s not completely perfect 24/7 yet but my HB1ac is so good my consultant keeps telling me not to try so hard and I’m not ! It just works for me. Yes you have to get used to an attached device all the time but it’s really not that hard. I wear the pump in a mini camera bag on my belt all day and clipped to my bed clothes at night. I would 100% recommend it 😁

Great to hear that HCL is working so well for you. It is for me for as well, Ive been on HCL for about four years, but the latest combination works well for me (Omnipod 5 (cordless and bliss) and Dexcom G7. I wouldn't be without either now. I know you love your Tandem, but it and I didnt get on at well, thankfully the Omnipod 5 is a much better match Im pleased to say. My TIR is so much better than it ever was, but like all of those who live with T1D, we're always wanting a bit more, funny really when we have the best tech available.
